Marathon, half marathon and ultra running — science-based coaching

Marathon, Half Marathon & Ultra-Running

Running is both the most natural and most demanding endurance discipline. Our science-based coaching combines biomechanics, physiology and mental strength to help you run faster, farther and injury-free.

Race Distances

Marathon (42.195 km)

The ultimate endurance test.

  • Aerobic Power: Zone 2 training for slow-twitch fiber development and mitochondrial density
  • Fueling: 60–90 g carbs per hour during racing
  • Biomechanics: Stride, cadence and arm swing optimization
  • Pacing: Heart rate zones, effort management, course profile strategy

Half Marathon (21.1 km)

Speed meets endurance.

  • Lactate Threshold: Tempo runs at race-pace intensity
  • VO2 Max: High-intensity intervals for aerobic ceiling
  • Running Economy: Efficient form at faster speeds
  • Recovery: Smart recovery between hard sessions

Ultra-Running (50 km+)

Extreme endurance and mental toughness.

  • Metabolic Flexibility: Fat and carb fuel switching
  • Mental Training: Visualization and goal-setting
  • Adaptive Load: Back-to-back long runs, trail terrain
  • Ultra Nutrition: Eating on the run, electrolyte balance

Technical Training Aspects

Heart Rate Training Zones

Zone 2 for aerobic base building. Zone 4 for threshold work. Every session has a purpose aligned with your race goals.

Stride & Cadence

Targeting ~180 steps per minute for optimal running economy, with drills to improve ground contact time and vertical oscillation.

Injury Prevention

Core, glute and leg strengthening exercises. Prehab routines, foam rolling and mobility work integrated into your training week.

Sports Nutrition

Macronutrient timing for training adaptation. Race-day fueling strategies practiced in training. Recovery nutrition protocols.
