1. Full-Distance IRONMAN (140.6 miles)The IRONMAN Triathlon is the ultimate challenge in endurance sports, requiring athletes to complete 140.6 miles in a single day. It is a true test of physical and mental resilience, combining swimming, cycling, and running. Widely considered one of the most difficult one-day sporting events in the world, the IRONMAN pushes athletes to their limits.

Race Format:

Swim: 2.4 miles (3.8 km) Open-Water Swim.
Challenges: Cold water temperatures, currents, and crowded fields.
Equipment: Wetsuits and goggles are essential for comfort and visibility.
Bike: 112 miles (180.2 km) cycling leg.
Challenges: Endurance, steep climbs, and weather conditions.
Equipment: Road or triathlon-specific bikes, aerodynamic helmets, and proper nutrition.
Run: 26.2 miles (42.2 km) Marathon.

2. IRONMAN 70.3 (Half-Distance – 70.3 miles)
An IRONMAN 70.3, or Half IRONMAN, is a middle-distance triathlon combining three disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. It totals 70.3 miles (113 kilometers) and is the perfect challenge for athletes stepping up from shorter races or preparing for a Full-Distance IRONMAN.

Race Format:
Swim: 1.2 miles (1.9 km) Open-Water Swim.
Bike: 56 miles (90 km) cycling segment.
Run: 13.1 miles (21.1 km) half-marathon.

Cut-Off Times:
Swim: 1 hour, 10 minutes
Bike: 5 hours, 30 minutes (from the start of the swim)
